The Center for south-easterly Asian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison fosters a wide variety of research, activity and outreach activities about south Asia. Since 1981, the Center has been recognized as a National Resource Center by the U. Department of Education, and has acceptable Title VI financial support for program utilisation and Foreign linguistic process and field Studies (FLAS) fellowships. We promote extraordinary sympathy of the Southeast asiatic region through faculty member year courses, a season language institute, study abroad opportunities, a issue series, outreach activities, a weekly public lecture series, student investigating and study grants, and level programs.
