I lived in Laurelton from 1952 until 1965 when I joined Larry Kuskin, a graduate of AJHS in 1960. Served in viet nam 68-69 (101st Airborne Division and dye Star Recipient). Lived in Laurelton with my family and brother Martin (on the corner of 232nd St. tended to PS 156, JHS 59 and graduated AJHS in 1963. Bill chessman On 9/2/17 Bill Bishop passed away from complications due to a stroke which occurred unexpectedly. In 1953, the Bishop family moved to Miami and in 1967 Bill married his high school sweetheart, Colleen. After the Navy he worked for the algonquin Police Department and retired after 23 years of service. In 1968, Bill was employed by the City of port of entry Police administrative division and retired in Dec. In May of 2009 the Bishop family lost fille to ALS. Victor is survived by his loving wife Carolyn B Kauffman of 47 years and his "adopted" family, king of great britain Lincoln, William Lincoln, Lynn Lincoln O'Connor and their children, nieces, Gail, Pam, Penny, Shelley, Gina and son, Adam. In the years that followed Bill was cursed to sports meeting a second extraordinary woman, Wendy Grant.
